IKO takes its resilient, heavyweight fiberglass mat and reinforces it with an extra coating of IKO-SBS-modified asphalt. This gives Nordic exceptional flexibility, tear-resistance and a UL2218/FM 4473 Class 4 Impact resistance rating. Discuss this with your insurance agent because depending on where you live, a roof of Class 4 Impact Resistance rated shingles may entitle you to a discount on your premium. "Lifetime" warranties have terms/conditions that ultimately have a limit in real years, and will not be considered unless clarified.
